Oxford Outcomes Timeline
1997 |
Oxford Outcomes founded by Diane Wild, specializing in Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) research, Translation and Linguistic Validation. |
1998 |
Paul Quarterman joined to take a lead on business development and administration. |
2002 |
Oxford Outcomes forms a strategic partnership with Occam Research and Consulting in Vancouver (Andy Briggs and Adrian Levy) to jointly promote PRO, Health Economics services. |
2004 |
Oxford Outcomes and Occam Research and Consulting formally merge under the Oxford Outcomes name to form a new Health Economics, Patient Reported Outcomes and Epidemiology consultancy. Diane Wild, Andrew Briggs, Adrian Levy and Paul Quarterman are Directors of the new Oxford Outcomes. |
2005 |
Mark Sculpher, Professor of Health Economics at the University of York, becomes a Director, further strengthening the Health Economics team. |
2006 |
Brian Harrigan appointed as Chief Operating Officer to lead development of the Vancouver office. |
2006 |
Oxford Outcomes opens new PRO office in Bethesda with the appointment of Kathy Beusterien as Director. |
2007 |
Two new Directors join the growing Oxford Outcomes teams, Andrew Lloyd in Patient Reported Outcomes and Neil Hawkins in Health Economics. |
2008 |
David Scott appointed as Associate Director to the Health Economics team. |
2008 |
Oxford Outcomes further expands its North American presence, establishing its second Canadian office in Toronto. |
2009 |
A second US office is opened in Morristown, New Jersey to support our growing Health Economics business in the United States. |
2011 |
Oxford Outcomes is acquired by ICON plc. as part of an on-going growth strategy. |
