Pricing research and advice

Oxford Outcomes’ core skills of health economic evaluation centered on the principles of value-based pricing enable the delivery of informed strategic pricing research and advice. Pricing analysis and research is used;
  • To inform the design of patient access schemes and flexible pricing agreements.
  • As a basis for quantitative models that evaluate risk sharing arrangements.
  • In the evaluation of cost effectiveness of alternate clinical strategies.

In a healthcare environment where reimbursement decisions are increasingly based on concepts of value, this is an essential component to pricing. Our value-based pricing research integrates with other core services in Epidemiology, market research, market access and reimbursement to provide a solid platform for decision-making on pricing and international market access.

Our Health Economics team has a well-founded base of experience in developing cost-effectiveness models at an early stage of drug development. They increasingly provide a critical analytical tool in market access and reimbursement strategies, in investment decisions, and help to evaluate in-licensing opportunities. In the absence of trial data, these early stage cost-effectiveness models are typically based on literature reviews, advisory boards and formal processes of expert elicitation.

Our network of affiliates throughout Europe and North America ensure that we have access to data and advice related to all major healthcare markets. We can offer these pricing services as a stand-alone or as part of a package of services to support early stage or in-market decision-making.
