Translatability assurance
We provide certification for our medical translations, detailing the methodology used, which is an assurance of Oxford Outcomes’ rigorous quality procedures. These certificates are used for submissions to ethics committees and regulatory authorities.
Our translatability assurance service ensures newly developed PRO instruments are subject to review by project managers, translators and linguistic validation experts in order to identify potential problems arising during the translation process. Our service is unique; we utilize the application of certain cognitive linguistic tools in order to achieve a robust and accurate assurance.
Our translations are always accompanied by a report which records the entire translation and decision-making process, identifies problematic items, makes recommendations for rewordings that will increase translatability and identifies items which could benefit from further explanation or definition through a concept elaboration report.
