Senior Outcomes Researcher or Principal in Patient-Reported Outcomes/Health-Related Quality of Life Research
We are an international company specialising in Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) research and Health Economics. Our US offices are located in Bethesda, MD and Morristown, NJ. We undertake consultancy projects for a range of international clients primarily in the pharmaceutical sector. Our PRO department in our Bethesda office is now seeking a post-graduate Senior Researcher or Principal. The candidate will help with both project work and marketing and should possess:
- Master’s Degree in a relevant subject.
- Qualitative and quantitative research skills.
- Literature search and review skills.
- Strong writing skills.
- Excellent communication skills.

Health Economist/Research Scientist – Morristown, New Jersey and Toronto, Canada
Oxford Outcomes is an international health research consultancy with offices in Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. We have openings for qualified health economists/research scientists at our offices in Morristown, NJ offices, and Toronto Ontario Canada. Successful candidates will hold an advanced degree (PhD, ScD, DrPH or equivalent) in a quantitative field, preferably in economics, Epidemiology, pharmacy administration, or biostatistics, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience, including at least two years involving responsibility for project management. Individuals with an MA, MS, MPH or equivalent degree and at least five years of relevant experience also may be considered. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
Successful applicants should be able to employ a variety of economic modeling techniques using appropriate software (e.g., Excel or TreeAge) and be proficient in the use of SAS or Stata for statistical analysis of insurance claims, EMR data, and clinical trial data. In addition to project management, the successful applicant will participate in interdisciplinary research teams, performing statistical analysis, developing medical decision models, conducting systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses, and writing project reports and manuscripts for publication.
